1. Where is A Change of Pace located?
A Change of Pace is located in Chalet Village on the North side of Gatlinburg,
about 3 miles from the "strip" in Gatlinburg and 4.5 from Pigeon Forge. We're on Wiley Oakley Dr, just over a
mile up from the Gatlinburg Welcome center.

2. How easy is it to get to A Change of Pace?
A Change of Pace is located just over a mile from the Gatlinburg Visitor Center on
Wiley Oakley Dr. It is a fully paved road, and we have a paved level drive with off-street parking for three vehicles.

3. How many people does the cabin sleep?
Up to eight people can comfortably sleep in A Change of Pace. Each of the three
bedrooms has a Queen size bed and there is a Full size sofa bed in the living area.

4. What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check in is after 4:00 PM Eastern time and check out is before 10:00 AM Eastern time.

5. Where do we pick up the keys?
The cabin has an easy-to-use keyless entry system. The code is changed for each guest and will be emailed
to you after your balance is paid, 30 days before arrival.

6. What is supplied?
The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, dinnerware,
glassware, utensils, and much more. You should find all that you need to prepare and serve your meals.

7. What do we need to bring?
A Change of Pace is fully furnished, including linens, towels, and a starter supply
of toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dishwater detergent, and dish soap. We also have an assortment
of games, movies, and books. Feel free to bring your own CDs, DVDs, and VHS movies. You may also want to bring
some beach towels for the hot tub and charcoal for grilling.

8. What kind of view do you have?
We have beautiful views of the mountains looking east from both decks, the living room, game room, and both bedrooms on
the east side of the cabin. See the Photo Album page for

9. Are there stairs in the cabin?
There are no stairs to enter the cabin. Also, two of the three bedrooms, the living area, dining room, kitchen,
and a bathroom are on the ground level. You only need to go down a flight of stairs to get to the game room, one of
the bedrooms, the whirlpool room, and the lower deck and hot tub.

10. Where can we do laundry?
A Change of Pace has a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.

11. May we smoke inside the cabin?
No, smoking is not permitted inside A Change of Pace. You may, however, smoke
on the deck or in front of the cabin.

12. Is A Change of Pace private?
A Change of Pace has a private setting with
one other cabin next door that can be seen year round. In Winter and late Fall, another cabin
can be seen several hundred feet away.

13. How do we check in and check out?
A Change of Pace has a keyless entry, so you won't even need a key to get in.
We'll provide you with the code when you pay the balance due. When you leave, just close the door behind you
and push the "lock" button. It's that simple! We change the entry code for each guest.

14. What if something needs emergency maintenance?
We'll give you an emergency contact number for our maintenance people in case something requires immediate attention.
You are also welcome to call us directly if you need any assistance during your stay. Even if you experience a minor
problem, we hope you'll let us know so we can address it appropriately. We take pride in our cabin and want to
make sure that it is maintained in its best condition.

15. How do we access the pool and tennis courts?
We are in Chalet Village and are only a 1/4 mile away from the North Chalet Village Owners Club, which you have full
access to during your stay. The club has several tennis courts, pools, and other amenities, all within a short walk from
the cabin!

16. How far away are the local attractions and activities?
You will be only 3 miles from the Gatlinburg "strip" and about 4.5 miles from Pigeon Forge and all
its attractions, restaurants, and shops. Ober Gatlinburg is only 3 miles away and Great Smokey Mountains
National Park is only about 4.5 miles way. In short, you are in the middle of it all with easy access to
anything you may want to do, yet secluded in a quiet private wooded setting.

17. How do I make a reservation?
You can easily make a reservation online by clicking

or by clicking the Ready to book online? button in the sidebar of any page. The dates are
immediately held for you with your payment of a $200 reservation deposit, which can be paid with a
credit card or check. We then contact you to go over
the details of your request and to confirm the reservation. The balance of your reservation is due 30 days
before arrival.

18. How do I pay?
We use an online reservation and payment system that enables you to securely pay with a credit card. If you prefer
to pay via other means, we can make arrangements during the reservation process.

19. Are there any cleaning, booking, per person, or other fees?
The only fee we charge besides your rental rate is if you bring a pet. This fee is
only $50 per pet per stay. To get an exact quote including all taxes, pet fee (if applicable)

20. What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit the reservation deposit.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date forfeit the entire advance payment. If we are able
to rebook your dates, however, we will refund your charges less a $50 cancellation fee. Any changes that
are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the check in date will not be penalized. Any changes made
within (30) days of the check in date that result in a shortened stay or change of dates may result in
loss of entire advance payment. No refund for no shows, bad weather, late arrival, or early departure.

21. Is there daily maid service?
There is no daily maid service. If you stay five nights or longer, the fourth day of your stay our cabin
service people will come balance the water in the hot tub and pick up trash at no extra charge.

22. Are there bears around the cabin?
You should be aware that there are bears living in the area around A Change of Pace,
and bear sightings are common. Remember that bears are wild animals and are unpredictable. You may view them
from a distance, but do not approach them. And, please, never feed them. It is dangerous, and it is also
very harmful to the bear.
